Why do I need a Thomas Report instead of a free credit report?

When Thomas Reports submits a report to the building on behalf of a prospective tenant, the building knows the report is legitimate and has not been altered. 

 

How do I know which Thomas Report to choose?

The building chooses the level of report required for potential tenants.  Please see our client database.  Dropbox/Client Database.

 

When will my report be delivered?

The report delivery date is calculated when we received the FORM, not the order.

All report forms received after 11:00 a.m. central time, will begin processing on the next business day.  Only business days are counted in the report delivery date.  (For example: a 7-day gold report arrives at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, December 7.  Starting on December 8, count only business days.  The report is due December 16.)

 

Can I get a copy of my report?

As a reseller of credit information, Thomas Reports can only provide reports to registered end-users with the permissible purpose of tenant screening.  Only property managers are registered end-users.  This information is in our Terms and Conditions.  By clicking the box, they agreed to this.

 

Who is Thomas Reports and why are they requesting information from me?

We perform screenings on prospective tenants for apartment buildings in the Chicagoland area. Your name was given to us by a subject for verification purposes. We have their signed authorization to do so.

How long does a report take to complete?

It depends on the report you choose, and how quickly we are furnished with the required information to verify your report.
